Education

I graduated from Wayne State University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, followed by a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2014. During my Master’s practicum, I received experience in both individual and group therapy, coupled with standardized testing for children and adults.

Experience

My career has provided me with experience across a variety of mental health settings, allowing me to develop a well-rounded understanding of the many ways people experience emotional and psychological challenges.

While completing my Master's degree, I worked as a Case Manager and Support Coordinator within a community mental health agency, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and a wide range of mental health concerns. During this time, I also facilitated psychoeducational and problem-solving groups in both clinical settings and adult group homes.

I later worked in a neuropsychology clinic, where I conducted neuropsychological testing for individuals with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and memory-related concerns. This experience strengthened my appreciation for the connection between brain health, emotional well-being, and everyday functioning.

For the past seven years, I have focused exclusively on individual therapy in private practice. In 2021, I founded Humanistic Healing, LLC, where I provide therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, childhood trauma, people-pleasing, and difficulties with self-esteem and boundaries. After opening my practice in Saint Clair Shores, I relocated to Washington, Michigan, where I continue serving clients through both in-person and virtual therapy.

As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) professional, I specialize in supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, pregnancy loss, and the transition into motherhood. I am passionate about helping women navigate the emotional, physical, and identity changes that accompany this stage of life while building confidence, self-compassion, and resilience.
